All are welcome regardless of religious identity/background or lack thereof.\n\n\n\nFACILITATOR: Matt Nightingale is a pastor\, musician\, speaker\, writer\, group facilitator and spiritual director from Novato. DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce a brand-new support group for LGBTQIA+ adults (18+) in Marin County! Starting Wednesday night\, March 26\, 2025\, we’ll be gathering every 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm at The Quest. Light refreshments will be served\, and we’ll check in with each other and share encouragement and support.\n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE: Even though we are meeting in a church building\, this is NOT a specifically faith-based support group. All are welcome regardless of religious identity/background or lack thereof.\n\n\n\nFACILITATOR: Matt Nightingale is a pastor\, musician\, speaker\, writer\, group facilitator and spiritual director from Novato. He is founder and executive director of Common Sanctuary\, and co-pastor of The Quest. Matt was a featured speaker at Novato’s Pride Flag Raising Ceremony at Novato City Hall in June 2024. SUMMARY:Contemplative Spirituality Group
DESCRIPTION:The Quest is partnering with The Journey Center to offer a safe and sacred space to explore spiritual journeys together. Participants learn contemplative listening practices and share spiritual journeys with each other for support and encouragement. Each session begins with introductions and check-ins followed by a contemplative spiritual practice – usually lectio divina – followed by discussion. Although we are a Christ-centered spiritual community\, people of all faiths or no faith are welcome to participate. Register by clicking here.
